On April 27th, BOSS hosted a digital mapping project with Jack and Jill Bay Area. Facilitated by Jourdan, Satia, and De'Zhon.

Fifteen Teens, A Great Leader, and A BOSS Team!! This is how it starts — ideas that spark action, blueprints that lead to real change. Gina Hunt from Jack and Jill Oakland Bay Area brought BOSS together for this project, facilitated by our very own BOSS team!
Jourdan brought his vision and dedication to make this project come alive, teaching the students about what BOSS does as a non-profit, while incorporating branding and marketing techniques to create maps of the four pillars of BOSS.
The young men and women who showed up and left with an incredible foundation for us to build off of and continue the creative opportunities with these young students.

BOSS' main pillars are Housing Security, Wellness Empowerment Resiliency Center, Trauma Recovery Center, ReEntry, and Social Justice. In this digital mapping project, we broke down the pillars and built a creative map for each pillar, leaning on the creative minds of the youth and how they would interpret the different parts of BOSS.

BOSS is committed to being a catalyst for continued conversation and action. But we can’t do it alone. We asked the community: If we lead, will you show up? And the resounding answer was: yes—but let’s build it together.
