BOSS continues to develop new housing programs whenever possible - including new construction, rehabilitation of existing properties, or master leasing opportunities. Following are new housing projects currently in development.

The BOSS Step Up Supportive Housing Program in downtown Berkeley is being developed in partnership with housing developer Panoramic Interests, with funding from the City of Berkeley, County of Alameda, and Kaiser Permanente. Step Up will provide 39 new units of affordable housing for unhoused community members, with on-site services to support housing retention, long-term health and wellness, and social and community engagement.

The Black Panther housing program is a collaboration between Oakland and the World Enterprises, Inc. (developers) and BOSS (on-site service providers).

The West Oakland project will create new units of 100% affordable housing as well as five innovative community-driven businesses.
