On Friday, October 24, 2025, we will gather at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland for the Rising Stars Celebration of Hope. This evening is dedicated to honoring BOSS participants who have achieved milestones in housing, employment, education, recovery, and family reunification.

The program includes a thunderous performance from the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, an invocation by Bishop Keith Clark, a keynote address by Dr. Nichole Pettway, and beautiful ballads by Bianca Brown. Each honoree will be recognized with awards and certificates presented by BOSS and community leaders, followed by a catered dinner shared in fellowship.
