Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) FY2425 Impact Report
Every year, we open our books to the community because the people who believe in this mission deserve to see exactly what their investment accomplishes.

This is our Impact Report. It shows how many people we housed, how many jobs were secured, how many acts of violence were prevented, and how many therapy sessions provided healing. It shows who we are (50% of our staff have lived experience navigating the same systems we dismantle), where we work (Oakland, Berkeley, San Leandro, Hayward, and Unincorporated Areas), and what we're fighting for—a Bay Area where housing is a human right, healing is possible, and no one is disposable.

Every number represents real change. People who got keys to their own apartments. Neighbors who intervened to stop violence. Community members who found employment. Families who accessed trauma recovery. This happens because people like you believe mass homelessness, mass incarceration, and community violence are solvable problems—and invest accordingly.
This is what community investment looks like. This is what accountability means.
