Neighborhood Impact Hubs
BOSS Neighborhood Impact Hubs are strategically located in corridors of concentrated poverty, crime/gang activity, and incarceration. The selected geographic locations are home to a dense mix of individuals and families struggling on the edge of poverty, disconnected youth and fragmented families – disproportionately Black/African American, in conditions where they are forced to contend with a host of interlocking barriers and complex needs, including deep poverty, effects of toxic stress, intergenerational trauma, low work readiness and low employment rates, and health disparities among many other challenges.
