How can Companies Contribute?
The businesses, large and small, that support our work are key players in tackling the problems of homelessness and poverty in our community.
Company Partnerships
From sponsoring events to organizing the collection of children’s gifts at holiday times, there are lots of ways for your business to be involved:
- Collections/drives: Organize a drive or collection of Wishlist items at your company locations.
- Sponsorship: Sponsor BOSS’s annual graduation ceremony or other special event. This way of giving can also include promotional benefits for your company.
- Gifts in kind: Do you have unwanted stock or end-of-the-line products that we could use? Consider donating office equipment that you no longer need.
- Workplace giving: Along with payroll deduction giving through United Way and other such entities, many employers match charitable gifts that their employees give, or invite charities to speak to employees on site.
- Marathons: Most running, swimming, walking, or biking marathons accept entries from teams running together for charity—could your employees and colleagues run to support BOSS?
- Volunteering: Some companies sponsor employees to spend the day together volunteering at a local charity—BOSS would be glad to provide this opportunity.
- Special events: Last year Funky Door Yoga Studio raised money from its clients to support BOSS’s Children’s Learning Center. We would be happy to work with you on a similar creative fundraising project at your location.
We would love the opportunity to discuss how our goals and programs complement your funding objectives.
